About Me
I'm a family physician who shares thoughts and stories. As part of my work, I'm always learning. This website is a place for me to consolidate what I'm consuming and to allow for ideas to evolve. Come along on my learning journey!
I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, and am a proud graduate from the University of Alberta. (I even kept a blog during medical school: Chris Le, Almost MD!) My residency training and early career work brought me to both coasts of Canada (New Brunswick and then British Columbia, to be exact), and now I've returned to Edmonton and set up my family medicine practice.
My last name is pronounced "Lay." (Now you know!) Outside of work, I'm often reading books or listening to podcasts. I keep active in the gym with weightlifting and at the hockey rink as a goalie.
